If you’ve found older articles, worksheets, or relationship resources online, you may be wondering whether I still offer relationship coaching.
The short answer is no. And here’s the good news.
Today, my work is dedicated entirely to providing online therapy through Breakthrough Counseling, LLC. As a licensed psychologist, I provide online couples therapy and individual therapy for adults in Connecticut and more than 40 participating PSYPACT states.
Why Are Older Relationship Coaching Resources Still Online?
Over the years, I created articles, worksheets, videos, and other educational resources to help people build healthier relationships.
Many of those resources continue to help people, so I will gradually be rebranding some of them so they are still available to you.
Why Did I Stop Offering Relationship Coaching?
When I first began offering relationship coaching, my goal was simple.
I wanted to help more people than I could through my Connecticut psychology license alone.
At the time, psychologists could only provide therapy in the states where they were licensed. Coaching allowed me to support individuals and couples outside Connecticut with relationship tools and practical tips.
Then things changed.
I’m now authorized through PSYPACT to provide online therapy in more than 40 participating states.
With this authorization, offering relationship coaching is no longer needed.
Therapy allows me to work more deeply with clients, understand the unique challenges they’re facing, and use evidence-based approaches that are tailored to their goals and relationships.
I’m fully focused on what offers the most benefit for clients seeking help and on doing the work I love the most.

Online Couples Therapy
Couples therapy may help if you’re experiencing:
- Frequent arguments that never seem to get resolved
- Emotional distance, even when you’re together
- Broken trust after an affair or unkept promises
- Misunderstandings that quickly turn into conflict
- Parenting disagreements about discipline, routines, or responsibilities
- Stress after having a baby, changing careers, moving, or caring for aging parents
- Feeling more like roommates than partners
You’ll learn how to:
- Communicate more effectively
- Understand recurring relationship patterns
- Repair conflict
- Strengthen trust
- Rebuild emotional connection
Whether you’re dating, engaged, in your first 6 months of marriage, raising children, navigating the empty nest years, or growing older together, couples therapy can help you better understand what’s happening beneath the conflict and build healthier ways to communicate.
Online Individual Therapy
I also provide individual therapy for adults experiencing:
- Relationship concerns
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief
- Stress and burnout
- Life transitions
Sometimes, strengthening your relationships begins by caring for yourself.
Individual therapy gives you a steady place to feel safe, be heard, and make sense of what you’re carrying.

Do You Accept Insurance?
Do You Accept Insurance?
One of the most common questions people ask is whether I accept insurance.
While I don’t bill insurance directly, many clients are able to use their out-of-network mental health benefits to receive reimbursement for a portion of their therapy fees.
Out-of-network doesn’t always mean you’ll end up covering the full cost yourself. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be reimbursed for a portion of your payment.
To make the process easier, you can use my Out of Network Benefits Checker to see whether your insurance plan provides this benefit.
You can also read Do You Accept Insurance for Couples Counseling? to learn how out-of-network benefits work, why I chose this approach, and what to expect if you decide to use your insurance benefits.
